Ayanna Molina, LPC

Staff Counselor

Background

Ayanna completed her master's degree in community counseling from Auburn University in Montgomery, Alabama, in 2011. She is a licensed professional counselor, and has experience in school counseling, treating anxiety and depressive conditions in adults, and in mental health rehabilitation. She works with clients across the age range who struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She attempts to create a relationship and environment of trust and safety through which to focus upon your goals, and work towards positive change in your counseling sessions. In her approach, both physical and social problems that client may be affected by, in addition to psychological concerns, are openly and supportively addressed. She believes that successful counseling takes a holistic approach involving the consideration of psychological, social, and physical components of health and well-being. Ayanna works with her clients to become more closely aligned with their ideal self and identity, while processing prior painful experiences in a professional and therapeutic environment. She will also work with her clients on improving a secure sense of empowerment and enhancing well-being and self-esteem over the course of their care. She helps her clients experience healthier alignment with your present goals, while working to help make sure your past experiences do not interfere with your growth.
