Background

Michaela received her Bachelors of Science from Williams College in psychology and her Masters of Science in psychiatric nursing from Boston College. She works to provide a safe and stable environment with her patients to ease collaboration and the development of a beneficial treatment plan. Michaela has experience with helping a wide range of patients and uses the patient’s strengths to inform treatment. Through a warm, empathetic and interactive approach, Michaela strives to create a relationship that honors the unique goals of every individual. Utilizing personal experience and training, Michaela displays multicultural competence by taking into account cultural differences when providing services. She employs a combination of therapeutic approaches with medication treatment to enhance symptom reduction and foster long term treatment success. Outside of work Michaela is an avid mental health advocate and volunteers for a non-profit mental health foundation.
